A local Club entirely run by Volunteers

See latest news below

Gosnells City FC was established in 1969. Through it’s many name changes our continued aim has been to promote the game of football in the community, whilst encouraging our players, coaches, managers and parents to develop an appreciation and enjoyment of the game and its skills.

Our Club's objectives are reflected in all our approaches to the game of Association Football:

  • To allow all players to enjoy the game.

  • To encourage all players to play to the best of their abilities.

  • To provide a skills and learning environment in which players can fully appreciate all aspects of football as a team game.

  • To promote good sportsmanship and goodwill.

  • To encourage pride in our Club and their own achievements as players in our Club.

  • To provide cohesive development pathways from grass roots to elite, and providing education, information and technical support to all.

Our Club is a member of Football West who is affiliated with the Football Federation Australia

Clubroom Extension Update.

Following the start of the Phase2 kitchen extension, Phase3 has now starting earlier than expected. Due to this work, the Club is now CLOSED until further notice.

We are still available for any Presentation Evening payments and information, outstanding registration fees, or any other enquiries, by Facebook messaging, or email; info@gosnellscityfc.org.au.

Don't hesitate to contact us if required.

A massive THANK YOU to Mark and Blake Adams, and their team of workers who

all gave up their time on Tuesday to remove the wood parquetry flooring in our

clubrooms ready for the installation of new vinyl flooring.

You might recognise Blake and his co-worker Brice Rae who are both current

Gosnells State League First Team players, and Mark and his wife Donna are

always at the Club when the Saturday teams are playing.

Mark, Blake and Brice will all be back in a few weeks’ time to complete the                                                 remaining parquetry removal after the canteen works have been finished by the                                           builders. Our Club are proud to be associated with these generous people and we                                       are very grateful to them for volunteering their time to help us out.

Builders have now started Phase2, the kitchen extension and new fit out of the                                           fixtures, Phase3 will follow with the final finishes to the clubroom.

Work that we hoped would be included in the building work, was the refurbishment of the bar area, but this has not been allocated funds to complete.

With this in mind, the Club is looking to raise the funds by appealing for sponsors or donations towards these costs:

*Removal of the bulkhead: $7,000. This work can only be completed by the Councils contactors.

*Refurbishment of the bar, including a new chiller unit and glass washer: $10,000 approx. This would be completed by ourselves.

For more information, or to make a donation, please speak to one of our Committee Members or email:                     info@gosnellscityfc.org.au. The Club would appreciate your help with this project.

We are very pleased to announce that Chris Tallentire (Member of State Parliament) has donated $1,000 towards the above costs. Thank you, Chris, for your support of GCFC.

Safety fencing and signage has been placed around the kitchen extension to direct and control the safety of all our members.

Please stay safe, it is a building site, do not attempt to enter the fenced area and please obey all signage.

Temporary move to; Thornlie Park Centre
50 Thornlie Avenue, Thornlie

A message from Chris Tallentire (Member of State Parliament)

A re-elected McGowan Government will deliver $130,000 to upgrade our club rooms.

The Club’s ageing facility at Walter Padbury Reserve in Thornlie is over

45 years old and is not currently fit for purpose. The Club has outgrown

this facility and cannot run events for its current members, let alone

provide space to grow to accommodate the Clubs’ future growth aims.

Given the current capacity problems being experienced with the

clubrooms, this extension is imperative to the longevity and the future

growth of the club in our community.

Thank you to;

Ossie, Scott, Peter, Garry, Mayor David Goode JP and all the members who joined me at the club for the announcement, and for all the great work that you do for the club!
